IN THIS WORKSHOP YOU WILL LEARN HOW TO:
Stitch a beautiful forest in dark greens and burgundy, using long and short stitch and seed stitch.
This class is great for those who are new to embroidery, or those who want to fine tune their skills to create more detailed and delicate embroidery pieces.
Students will receive a beautiful kit containing a forest embroidery pattern, thread, needles, fabric and a hoop. There will be plenty of time to perfect your technique, creating beautiful detailed trees.
This promises to be a creative and inspiring workshop in a welcoming environment—perfect for embroidery enthusiasts or anyone looking to try something new!

Come and join me for a fabulous day of stitching. Learn to create gorgeous textured embroidery and how to include recycled textiles in your work. Students are encouraged to bring some of their own collection of threads to add to their piece.
Discussion of materials that can be used for embroidered embellishments
How to find resources and materials in an economical way
Sustainability considerations with the use of recycled materials and remnants
Demonstration of stitches and material use, with guided practice for attendees
Additional resources: digital copies of stitch guide, materials list, and suppliers list
