IN THIS WORKSHOP YOU WILL LEARN HOW TO:
Stitch some sweet polka dot plants using long and short stitch.
This class is great for those who are new to embroidery, or those who want to fine tune their skills to create more detailed and delicate embroidery pieces. You can also use this technique to embellish clothes and household items.
Students will receive a beautiful kit containing a polka dot plant embroidery pattern, thread, needles, fabric and a hoop. There will be plenty of time to perfect your technique, creating beautiful detailed leaves

Come and join me for a fabulous day of stitching. Learn to create gorgeous textured embroidery and how to include recycled textiles in your work. Students are encouraged to bring some of their own collection of threads to add to their piece.
Discussion of materials that can be used for embroidered embellishments
How to find resources and materials in an economical way
Sustainability considerations with the use of recycled materials and remnants
Demonstration of stitches and material use, with guided practice for attendees
